We are celebrating over 10 years of service to our clients and our community. While reflecting upon our past we thought about the work we were involved in with the Christian Council of Metropolitan Atlanta (now known as Regional Congregation of churches); the heartfelt appreciation of the residents of Tapestry Youth Ministries expressed to Rutha Greene at the open house of their 2nd teen residence; Managing the Earned Income Credit Campaign at the West End Mall sponsored by the Annie Cassey Foundation and the Community Foundation; Celebrating with Pastor Blythe of Abundant Life Community Church when they moved into their new building.
There are many other non-profit organizations that we have had the pleasure of working and sharing with. What we discovered was that while we have provided accounting services, we have also caught the respective visions that have been cast by the organizations that we work with.
As a result, we have launched our Heart 2 Heart Services. This service focuses on the needs and concerns of non-profit organizations. Heart 2 Heart combines stewardship and mission. Non-profit organizations rely on various funding sources be it contributions, grants or memberships. The reality is these organizations like yours must be accountable and therefore good stewards of the resources that are received.
MJ Phillips provides the experience and expertise to assist non-profits in being good stewards as they accomplish the mission that the Board has outlined. We now have dedicated pages just for non-profits on our website. We also have our seminar series that will address areas including the 501(c)(3) Application, selecting software, preparing for an audit and accounting for other business income.
